Noordwijk - There are more stars than grains of sand on earth Astronaut André Kuipers once said during an interview. In Noordwijk, the home base of the European space agency ESA, you will find more sand grains at the beach than anywhere. Here is a real walk of space with prints of our space heroes.

On the Walk of Space to the Queen Wilhelminaboulevard, Noordwijk wants to honor astronauts, with its own variation on the well -known Walk of Fame.

For the time being there are more grains of sand than stars on the boulevard, but it is a nice initiative. The first stone on the Walk of Space is the Moonboot print of Neerlands first spacer Wubbo Ockels.
