The shark teeth that you can find on the Zeeland beach are therefore not recent. Most of them are fossils and they date from times long past. 140 million years ago to be exact!

Although we couldn't find anything at first, we had a lot of fun. As well as a wonderful morning on the beach. Every shard of a shell was seen by the children as a shark tooth! Fortunately, we eventually found one. Not that big, but when you consider how old these teeth are, it remains special!
