Something similar has been done in Bokrijk where a cycle path cuts through a lake. It really looks as if a piece has been cut out of the water. From the Water Bridge in Bokrijk you have a beautiful view just above the water surface. And from a distance it looks like cut-off people are sliding through the water. Cool!
