At the border with the Netherlands

Maastricht - Just south of Maastricht lies the Belgian hamlet of Klein Ternaaien. Although you can speak Dutch perfectly well here, you should actually call it Petit-Lanaye.
Even though Klein Ternaaien is just south of Maastricht, French is the official language here.
On the border with the Netherlands lies, just north of Klein Ternaaien Petit-Lanaye, the northernmost point of Wallonia.

From the Netherlands, the northernmost point of Wallonia can be reached along the western bank of the Meuse, past the former ENCI quarry.
