The Factory in the center of Eindhoven, the place where Philips began in 1891, has been thoroughly refurbished to make a splendid Philips museum. An imposing glass gallery has been created in front of the building. With the renovation and the distinctive glass facade, the factory has been put in a display case, as it were. The original structure, a listed building, has remained intact.
