Werkendam

Biesbosch Landart

Werkendam - There is a labyrinth along the Bandijk in the northern corner of the Noordwaard in the Biescbosch. It is the landscape artwork De Wassende Maan (The Waxing Moon). The artwork consists of channels and dikes. Due to the weather influences and the influence of the tide, De Wassende Maan always looks different.

The artwork is four hectares in size and is designed by artist Paul de Kort. To see the labyrinth, climb on the landscaped hill as it serves as a viewpoint.
