Boschplaat Nature Reserve

Terschelling - The Boschplaat is situated on the marshy land of the southern shore of the island of Terschelling. The Wadden island is famous for its golden sandy beaches and clean water. In spring, thousands of waterfowl and migrating birds gather in the area. At night, the remote Boschplaat is very dark and therefore one of the best places to watch the stars. Due to the lack of light pollution, the Boschplaat is now an official 'Dark Sky Park'.
